Default B16a.... will it fit on my tranny?

i have a 91 integra LS its bone stock and i see on 2nd gen web sites that the Suggested swaps for my car is a B16a......... but i was wondering is this a swap for me....... and will it work out in the long run for me...... and can i just buy the longblock so i dont have to buy the whole swap and slap it right on my tranny that i have in the teg as of right now?

the b16 is a motor that honda put in the integra X-Si over in japan. so its a motor that would definitely work, however, i'd go with the motor/transmission rather than using your transmission because it will be geared better for the b16.

You dont want that LS tranny. The gearing is way to tall. I just pulled a LS tranny from my b16 crx and put in a J1 tranny. All i have to say is its like night and day. If you want to do a b16 swap, i highly suggest getting the tranny with it, it doesnt cost that much more.

honestly, why not go with a B18C1?

you get much more torque and a lil more HP than a B16A. integras are a little heavier than civics and the added torque of the bigger engine will certainly help.
