Default Best way to spend $3,000 on an EX and get close to 200HP

Ok, Say you have your every day Civic EX coupe and have $3,000 to spend on making it perform better. What is the best route to go?

Right now I'm thinking this:
Intake/Header/Exhaust
Cams/Cam Gears/Valvesprings, etc from Skunk2
50 shot of Zex

That should put the car around 200hp when on bottle correct? Possibly a little over. Please list your thoughts for/against.

Thanks.

3,000? what are you thinking? If i had 3000? to spend id have me a motor swap on its way to my door...but thats me. I have the everyday civic ex that is EVERYWHERE....with basic bs bolt ons....it was fun for a while...but i could of saved all the cash and got a swap and would be way more happy now...but its up to you.

[quote]yeah, but will 3,000 get the kit and get it installed?

all depends on what kind of setup u get....if u go custom(maybe swaying to ghetto)but not necessarily bad...then probably...but if u buy a kit for the ex like greddy or apex then no...most on here say nay to those n e ways....but even with drag....it wont be enough to get it installed inless you got a hook up in price somewhere...but then you have to decide how much boost your going to go with...(which equals a cause to rebuilt motor to withstand the higher boost) how many miles does your car have? I would say go with gsr swap (i know u can find one for 3 but might take some research) but then just save up some more to pay someone(knowledgeable in swaps) to do it for you....these r just my 2 cents...there is alot of people that know alot more about turbos than me and they will give u a more accurate answer but this is just my advise.

b16 on some juice will get you 200hp. you could save money by gettin an a1 for like 1200 but with all the stuff you would have to do to convert it to your car your better off gettin an a2/a3 to drop it right in but they run 2100 that i commonly see..if ya find it cheaper more power to ya..with the extra 9 go buy yourself some nawzzz..2 of the big bottles figure thats gunna be another 500 so now u got 400 left (if you do the swap urself) so go by some colder spark plugs and shop around on here for some cam gears and cams or whatever ur heart desires lol

you could prolly get another 400/500 bux sellin the ex motor/tranny
