assuming that you're talking about b series, the only cable clutch that will with a hydro trans is the b17a1 gsr.... any other cable clutch set will not work in with a hydro transmission.....

ok yeah i have a yz1 and i just bought an act 4 puc a while ago dont really want to have to buy another one. is how the debate started.

next question is one better than another cable or hydro? and yes b-series

I put a hydro clutch in a cable tranny(d-series) a cpl years back but I ended up breaking the clutch pedal cause the pedal was sooo stiff. It was a ACT clutch and I was told it was a cable clutch but in the end I found out it wasnt the hard way, had to pull tranny to put the correct clutch in and had to have my clutch pedal welded back in place

92 and up b series clutches are the same....size and spline count........all interchangable..........and been doin it for years.

and fyi:92 and 93 b series trannys only......same internals as hydro trannys
