Default heater core leaking...

well, i'm finished with this backwords gsr to ls swap that i've been working on for about a week and there seems to be some coolant leaking from the heater core...or around the hose that sends coolant into the heater core.

tomorrow night i'll check this out and see what i can do...but my question was this...if its the heater core does this mean i have to pull it? i've never done this before and its supposed to be a pain in the ass. anyway, some suggestions would be nice on how to fix the heater core without pulling apart the dash to get to it.

thanks...

you can patch that in the same manner as you would a radiator, excpet this itme has a higher presure rating. is it leaking right at the connection of the line going into the heater core? or is it a small leakin the line? if its a small leak in the line i would buy to hose clamps and a small piece of aluminum and make a temp band aid for it. as for the line going into the core, nothing says quality mechanic like using some jb weld
