car just stopped running
My room mates 91 accord just died while he was driving. It has a brand new Optima battery in it. Now matter how much he try's to start it it doesnt turn off butt it cranks and shows no sign if weakening like the battery is dead.

Could a bad spark plug wire on piston 1 cause it? we were checking the wires pulled the wire on #1 and it came the wire came apart from the metal that hold on to the plug.
We were figuring the distributor, if it is would the hole thing need replaced.

if the wire came off...very likely....probably never been changed in its lifetime.
Worked on a 92 Talon about a month ago...wires were never changed and every one of them came apart when I pulled em up off the plug.
Start with the wires, if not what they other guy said

Yes, go get all new wires and spark plugs. Try that - if it doesn't start it is prolly distributor.
My friend was driving in his crx and it just suddenly died. 3 days later of it sitting on dale mabry [by the stadium] i told him to get a new distributor and walla. Runs purrr fect.
