crx swap help
a friend wants me to do a b16 swap into a 89 crx. I jjust have a few questions. it is a cable tranny b16 but will the cable match up and fit right? i know you need a mount kit but do you need the other kit for the shift linkage, will all the wireing match up or is there a few plugs that wont fit? is there any other problems i will have to watch out for? ive done a few civic swaps but never a cable tranny swap so all the help you can give would be great i think thats everything. thansk alot guys

The tranny cale that is on the car now will work with out any problems. The throttle cable will work also. I replaced mine with new ones. Cleaner install. I used Hasport motor mounts and they also sell a linkage that will work for that application. As for as the wiring, its going to depend on what type of motor you have in the CRX. If its an Si the wiring is simple. If its the 1.5 I suggest that you contact Racing Works. They can make you a harness that hooks right up.
