i just got my ef hatch that wasnt starting right i got that fixed now my vtec is not poping at all it has a d16z6 swap and its obd0 the ecu is a pg7 the vtec is wired to the ecu but its not doing anything how can i fix this problem

do i need a different ecu or wiring harness or can i just get a new vtec ecu and wire the vtec to it?? i would really appreciate any help you guys offer me thanks

 

VTEC doesn't 'Pop'.

 

the vtec doesnt do anything it dont kick in

 

get a p28 ecu and obd0-obd1 jumper wire vtec into ur wire harness exstention on the jumper IF u buy a quality one done deal

 

i was thinking about buying a b16 ecu and running that could that work??

I don't think the pg7 ecu is a vtec ecu, so that could be your first problem...

1slowsi was just asking a ? you didnt need to get an attitude and there are other ways to getting vtec to work..... 88hatchy lol something is wrong with your vtec cuz single cam vtecs do pop and you might wanna check whats wrong with yours
