Check Engine Light?

Default Check Engine Light?

My moms car had the check engine light come one, and she say's its not runnin right.Its a 2000 accord v6 coupe with 31000 miles on it and it just had the oil changed.Anyone know what it could be?

which code is it throwing? it should be easy to pinpoint the problem once you know which code it is...

underneath the dash you should find a group of wires. among these wires you'll find a plug that doesn't seem to have a corresponding end...and this is what you'll use. next, take a paper clip or something that will complete the circuit and "jump" the ecu. what this does is send a message to the guage cluster which in turn makes the check engine light blink. after that, reading the code is simple.

long blinks are 10's...short blinks are 1's. so...long blink, long blink, short blink is a 21. there is more information on this and a list of codes on my website.
