Question: OBD2 LS Alternator

Default Question: OBD2 LS Alternator

Hey guys Im just curious if I have an LS in my ek coupe and its OBD2 then do I have to have a B series OBD2 alternator or can I use a D series OBD2 Alternator? Thanks

you need to have a obd2 ls alternator. Do it the right way, if you need one shared_pm me i have one i'll let go for cheap.

Just to give you options you can get a obd1 if its easier for you but you will need a jumper harness. Just get the obd2 and call it the day. No need to hack stuff up

ok cool yeah I found out today that I was gonna need a B series OBD2 alternator of some kind, and a buddy of mine hooked me up with one for next to nothing. Thanks tho! I do however need some help replacing this thing because I cant get it out from the bottom or the top and I just spent like 3-4 hours tryin to get it out and it definitely didn't happen. UGH oh well lol Thanks
