i need help. i just brought a 94 blue honda civic hatch cx from a guy here on tr, he said the car was a great car and all and then when i brought the car the next day the timing belt came off. come to see the thing that puts pressure to hold the timing belt in place was off and were the bolt goes in was all stripe . now idk what to do please help me out. do i need a new block or what

take the head off and hope you see some good valves or get your money back is another option good luck

 

THIS IS TR...... there is a very good chance you wont get your money back and you should swap the motor out...if he said the car was awesome then something like that happens, there is a good chance something else will happen....


I bought a eg hatch with a b18c5 told that i have this and that done to the head.....NEGATIVE, stock b18c5 ( not complaining of course) but i wouldnt have gave him what i did....
