need help, brake lights wont go off
My cars brke lights wont go off. even the 3rd brake light stays on. its a 95 civic does ne one kno what could b wrong

check by the brake pedal. there should be a lil plastic peice that broke. it pushes a button in,that turns off your brake lights.

You'll see some little blue plastic pieces on the floor.
It is what is left of your Brake Light Switch push plug.
On the brake lever if you follow it up, there is a switch and a metal plate on the lever itself where the plug went, and now the is an open hole on the plate. replace the plug with a small bolt & nut. the when the brake pedal is released it pushes the switch button back it... and your done...
2 Minute FIX IT

Just had to fix this in my coupe. takes 2 minutes as long as you have a nut and a bolt. slip it in and your done
