Faulty TPS sensor, the signal should range from .45V closed to 4.5V WOT, having 5.04V at WOT indicates the arm inside the sensor is not touching the resistance tracks. If you hook up an OBD scan tool, your code should be one of these.

P0121 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem
P0123 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit High Input

I wont say that is your only problem but info from manufacturer says:

A faulty TPS can cause driveability problems such as hesitation, stalling, an erratic idle, pinging (spark knock), no torque converter lockup, hard starting, an intermittent check engine light while driving, poor fuel economy, and generally poor engine performance. Erratic readings or momentary infinity (open) readings indicate a defective sensor. Full continuity (zero ohms) in either position would indicate a shorted sensor. If your vehicle is suffering from any of these symptoms then it is very possible your TPS is the problem.

Are you sure you dont have the plugs reversed as you are throwing both codes?

seriously dude, go buy the friggin helms manual from acura it will save you so many headaches and time.

i still think its your map sensor. when my map shit on me at one point i could MASH THE GAS, and the car wouldnt go over 1k rpms. car would start and idle perfect, then try gas and IT TOOK A GIANT SHIT.

first thing i would do is get a new map sensor, i got one on ebay for 23 dollars used.

then plug that shit in and work from there.

the wires for the map sensor are not attached to the engine harness on my car, it comes from like near the fuse box under the hood. the tps will be attached to the actual harness.
is the car an si or dx?
