Honda Crx Problem
Hey I was wondering if any of you CRX drivers or just Honda drivers have encountered this problem with your car. My 91 CRX 1.5L D15b2 keeps acting up like it doesn't want to take off. Example when i hit the gas it goes to about 2000 to get it to go but than drops to about 1100 as soon as i get the car moving. Now when i get to about 55 or so after my car is warmed up I'll let it drop about 8 to 10 mph and my check engine light comes on. When my light comes on it makes my car run just like it should. Example when i take off it goes to about 2000 and drops about to 1800 like it should.
Here's a link that is close to my problem but i know how to make the problem reoccur https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/h...e-problem.html
When the check engine light is on it make my car run VERY smooth but when its not on it runs kinda choppy. Also it turns off once i turn off my car and doesn't come back on until I make it reoccur again.
So if anyone has an idea what is occurring this please let me know because its really bugging me that i can't get it fixed.
Well here's the problem the light only comes on when i have been driving around for about 7 to 8 minutes. I than let off the gas in 5th to drop it to about 50 to 45. Than the light comes on.
Ill be trying to make a video so that you can see a good example of it to get a better look at it.

The thing is that once I turn off my car the cel turns off. Than when I turn my car back on the cel is off. So its almost impossible for me to get the code.
Would it be fine for the car to be running while the cel is on to check the code. Could it also read wrong when the car's engine is on?

long blinks = 10
short blinks = 1
there will be a pause between the next code or it will repeat
this thread is a very good resource:

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
