where would i weld a bung or can a bung be welded?

i have a aftermarket Hytec big tube Rep. i need a obd1 bung welded into on of the runners who can weld this stainless steel,or can it be welded?i have the o2 bung for it

i guess i needed it welded in 1 of theses spots

there is one but its going on a obd1 stock p28 so i need to get a bung for the o2 do to stock is up front

my dad said u can weld stainless steel with a mig or tig just make sure whoever does it know wtf they are doing or ur shit is gunna get fucked up.

he said you also need a stainless steel bung to. or if u get the right steel bung u can braze it to the stainless someshit like that.

Weld the bung in one of the runners right before the final collector. That's where they are on real HyTech headers.

a o2 in one of the runners will restrict flow and not to mention what good reading can it get from there?

stock obd1 is in front runner not down by the collector thats why i need it where circled..i dont think the metal is thick enough to just drill a hole and tap the hole
