is all b series wrist pins the same?why im askin is becouse i have a ls bottom and a gsr crank and gsr rods with p30 pistons but when i put the wrist pins in they just slide in with no problem well thats the problem.so if anyone has any info on this it would be great thanks

the wrist pin will slide in and out of the piston no problem,its the rod that holds it when it is pressed on..all bseries are the same dseries are smaller H series are bigger then both

ok that answers my question thanks but when i put the rod on the piston it goes thru that also so now im wondering if i have bad gsr rods or bad p30 wrist pins what do you think

do you have aftermarket rods?if so then you need aftermarket pistons..if you can put the pin in the pistons and shake the piston and the pin rattles then you have dseries..if it fits in nice and"tight"and still goes thu your "stock"rods then someone messed up your rods

the rods are stock p72 so im not shure the p30s came with the wrist pins but yea they could be d i have ls rods and pistons but i need to depress them to see if they fit other wise the rods are messed up thanks alot bro

Is it possible you can MIC the wrist pins and the rod for us? Im sure with measurements we can can figure out whats going on. Either MIC it or even a dial indicator maybe..

well i think the end resault is that im goin to seee if i can trade my clean fresh gsr crank for a ls crank then i can use my ls rods so if you guys know anybody that would be interested in that lmk thanks
