just bought a car in Florida the dash vin is different from the title? the title matches the door vin and firewall vin stamp. does anyone no if this is going to be a problem to inspect in another state?

the car was registered to the previous owner title is in his name so i dont think its stolen???? i just noticed after i got the car that the dash vin was different. anyone done this before??? is this a problem

take the thing off the dash...... hello. its not illegal to remove it

u cant even read the one on my car it was painted over and i register my car perfectly fine

just make sure the other place it has the vin doenst get fucked up, cuz if u lose all the placed it has the correct vin then your gunna have a problem

thanks and where did u register flordia? im trying to findout if u can in states that have inspection laws??

it would only be a problem if the numbers on the inside of the driver door didnt match im pretty sure

thats what im hopeing and firewall vin is a stamp i should go by that???

usually they wont look at the firewall one i wouldnt worry. if ur worried just remove the dash one. and they will look at the one on ur inside door
