Make sure the wiring is legit.
If it's a stock/IHE motor, get a stock ECU.
If it's not chipped and tuned by a pro, chipped ECU's are almost always trouble.

And, vtec isn't supposed to 'kick' if that's what your after.

i solder it and its stilll doing the same shit. its a chipped ecu did it go bad?

these are things that control vtec

1. oil level/ pressure
2. o2
3. knock sensor
4. engine temp
5. speed sensor
6. air intake temp<< will throw off O2 sometimes

What's it chipped for?

 

chipped for a lot things i think the car was boosted and sprayed. the ecu has a note on it and it says turbo nitrious etc

soo there could be stuff done or did to the car that i dont know.

 

Get a stock ECU.
If it's chipped and has a tune for something else, your only fucking yourself running it.
Or have someone put a basemap for your engine on it.
