A/C help!!
So I installed my a/c belt today. When I got the car it didn't have a belt on it. Idk how long the car has been runnning without the belt? But anyways, When I turning the car on it struggled to turn on. So I un-tightend the bolt a bit loosening the tention of the a/c belt. Then it started fine,but a lot of smoke started coming from the a/c compressior, like it was forcing it to work. It was making a scretching sound as well. Then finally the belt snaped. Does this mean the a/c compressior is bad?? Or what could it be? Thanks

the a/c compresser is bad the clutch on the compresser is starting to lock up thats why you saw the smoke when you started the care and it couldnt be the fact that it mayor may not have freon cause if i doesnt have eniugh the hi/low pressure switch will not let the compressure turn on.... if you need on let know i have a bunch of them.... 727 269 1424
