Auto to manual swap, I know the manual Civic I had deffinately had a rubber piece where the clutch pedal you make contact so you arent banging the firewall. Well I did an auto to manual and theres nothing in between. I kick the shit outta my clutch lol that bitch will end up making a huge dent in the firewall so what should I use to dampen it?

Its supposed to go to the floor I just dont want to dent my firewall. The clutch pedal comes down and has that thick metal bracket with a point on it where it would contact the firewall. Right now with no fluid in the master its sitting against the firewall. Your telling me if it rests on the firewall without anyones foot on it that its not going to dent it when your banging gears? Yes I push my clutch pedal all the way down shifting, its not an aftermarket pressure plate or puck clutch where your not supposed to.

If you are that worried about it just have someone weld in a nice thick piece of steel behind the carpet...would only take like 5 mins to do.

Fill the fluid up and bleed the system.
Adjust the clutch and see if still hits.

If it does, plate of steel bolted in, with some soft rubber (tires for a 1/8th scale RC truck?) to make it softer.

Honestly though, the only time you need to be mashing on the clutch that hard is in the event of a emergancy stop. Otherwise you're just gonna kill the transmission over time.
