Default V-AFC on a non-vtec engine????????????

The reason I ask is I'm building a ls vtec, more like gathering the parts for one currently. But the reason I ask is I am currently running a LS in my 89 si with a 55 shot of nos. And I what to upgrade my fuel system. But I don't want to buy a s-afc for the ls engine i'm running now, then bolt in my ls-vtec and and turn around and buy a v-afc. Just trying to save some cash, Mom does't pay for my mods. So if you have installed a v-afc, is it possible to still use it for the fuel adjusting capability without having to wire the vtec up as well? From my understanding, the v-afc is just a s-afc but with adjustable vtec engagement built in. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.......

i dont know where the wires go, but i assume they somehow plug to the ECU and since the vafc goes to a ecu with vtec, i think the wires somehow wont matchup right. but i could be wrong.
TTT. someone answer this. i want to know as well
