Default ef civic model differences.

Howdy. I was looking to buy an ef and had a couple of questions about the differences between the different models. Is the difference between the base hatch's 70 hp and the dx's 92 horsepower an 8 valve versus a 16 valve head? Does the CRX hf have multipoint fuel injection? I wanted an autocross car so I wanted to avoid the extra weight of the SI models, and i wanted to keep it cheap and do a multpoint conversion, or a full d16a6 swap... Let me know which car you think would be best for this.

So the HF and the base hatchback had smaller axles, and then the dx's and si's used the same axles? Also do any of you guys see a lot of EF's at copher or junkyards around here? I've never really looked. I just bought a tranny from a 00 ex, will that work, or should I be sellin it to help fund my ef?
