Is a del sol SI AC bracket the only bracket that will work in an ek hatch, w/ a b series motor in it? Again, I'm asking b/c i don't want to waste my money if there is an easier way to do this w/o spending $100 on a piece of metal.

I've googled it but i'm looking for first hand experiences w/ this ....

I thought mine was the B20 bracket? I will cehck it out when I get out of work if you dont find it by then.

I used the Delsol Vtec one..

cost me 120.00 new from honda.. Worth every penny for Ac..

I have also used the Beseries ac compressor and bracket with the stock Condenser and it worked also.

I have all of the stock ac parts, but the bracket from the d series won't work. You're saying the integra bracket will work? I was told it would not.

Having no ac sucks, esp when my window is broken right now and will not roll down.

I personally used a stock B series bracket and a stock Bseries Ac compressor.. Not single cam one..


If you want to use the single cam one you will have to get either the Del sol Vtec I think 94-95 only.. or one of the CRV brackets I think its the the p54 a/c bracket from a CRV..

But im not 100% sure

Thanks. I'm assuming a bseries ac compressor is going to cost way more than the bracket alone....so guess i have to spend the $100.

The compressor shouldnt be allot..

There is allot of idiots around ripping there AC out to "Save weight"

Its way to hot in florida to remove my Ac...

i had AC and power Steering on my poor mans type R in my old ek civic coupe..
