Keep the ls crank with the ls block....And you match the rods with the crank you use. also, get rid of the ls head and get a vtec head.

12lbs on stock pistons?save up some money and buy forged or keep it around 10lb..the gsr crank will fit fine no problems, you will need 9mm arp bolts for your gsr rods,i would go with a Ace bearing set and have the crank polished...shared_pm allshownogo maybe for your 500 he will sell you his perfect set of eagle rods with 81.5 wiseco pistons

^if he's going with the 81.5mm's then the block will have to be bored .5mm bigger. i'd say take the block and crank to a machine shop, get it bored and have them polish the crank. and personally i'd go with Clevite77's or Calico bearings. also have them shot peen your rods, after which they'll have to resize them and press in new bushings but it'll be worth it on a boosted build.

and i wouldn't recommend Eagle anymore, we've been having problems with there products. we've gotten two cranks in the past month that have been soft (not heat treated right) and they ended up spinning bearings.

then your set. get a good set of bearings/rings, new water pump, oil pump, gaskets and you'll have a solid short block. the only thing i would change is if you have a block gurdle from the GSR then put that on the LS, it's a direct bolt on fit. it gives the main caps added strength.
