Default Will i have to switch hubs

i have a 90 crx hf im putting a jdmd15b with a 89 crx si tranny in it will i need to change the hubs heard that hf's are smaller if so i have a set of complete arms with disk caliper and bearings from my 89crx si will these work???


also whats the model numer for the 89 si cable tranny?

yes u need to swp them..just go to the junk yard any Dx crx/civic will work to..

Actually you dont. Only the outer hub is smaller, the inner hub will go into the si tranny just fine. Its when you want to upgrade to bigger brakes or go B series (which had no small hub model) that you need to swap them.

It's cheaper to just replace the whole knuckel then rebuild a axle safely for this application tho.

just saying he doesnt have to if they arent bad. The smaller hubs will handle the almighty power of the d15b lawl.

if by arm you mean the steering knuckle, then yes you could but make sure youve got axles to match or your going to be sitting there with you thumb up your ass..lol

The actual suspension arms are the same, you just swap one knuckle for the other.

If your using an Si Tranny, then you need axles & Hubs (knuckles)...

88-91 SI, LX, EX DX knuckles & Axles will work...

It's not about horse power, it's about spline count..
