i bought a ls head with out the cam caps i just wanted to know if thus is going to be a problem or can i just get new or used ones and put my cams in it?

Not worth the effort for a LS head just pick up another one on here. Plenty of people who went Vtec have them lying around.

Ok then...
Call Honda and tell them you just want to buy the cam caps. They will tell you they dont sell them. This will be for a reason.
Go obtain some from any source possible. Then you will have to take the head,cams.and cams caps to a machine shop for a line bore. This will cost you about$150
Step 3 Buy a LS head complete off TR for $50 or less.
Im not trying to be smart just telling you it is not worth it.

You will have to source a set of cam caps. You will have to take the head, cams, cam caps and cam cap bolts to Engine Lab of Tampa. You will have to pay them to align hone the cam journals. About $250.00. If not you're going to have issues with your cams and valve train in the near future

Or since it is an ls head and they kinda suck just get some caps off any old head and a spare set of cams ($10). Rough up the bearing journals on the spare cam set and just run them for 15 minutes with the new caps. DIY align hone FTW, lol.

I was only joking but with an ls head I'd almost do it just to see if it would kinda work.

BoostedRacerDad is 100% right. My old roommate kicked me out and sold my space LS head.. i had the cam caps...hehe He sold the head, then i told him it was a paper weight without the caps... Needless to say the guy wanted his money back, cuz i wouldn't give him the camcaps to my head that he sold..
