First Honda build i got a 1990 crx has a d16z6 swapped into it OBD1 Coversion,bolt ons Si Trans all that good stuff. I am not sure what i should do, High Compression Single Cam All Motor Build, Or Boost it. I want it to be a low 13 car at the least. some people are telling me to do a ZC swap i wana stick to D-series..Want this build to make the most power for the least amount of money any ideas?...

 

Definitely boost, it'll cost a good chunk of money to build a that motor for na vs boost.

well if u want d series and hp all motor is not the place for it Bisimoto is the SOHC man and he holds all motor record in a D at 220ish so i doubt u want to throw his kinda money down for a allmotor

my motor setup is less than 1k for (boost)

9.0:1 JE forged pistons, fresh machining, Eagle H beam rods, micro polish crank,new honda seals, gaskets, and timing belt -- and will be good for 300hp ALL day granted that does not include my head work i am having done, cam, and so on and turbo kit

 

I am going to boost it..this is my daily now till i get a clutch in my 99 s10 them i am going to pull the motor and trans out and build both...you guys think i should just get a turbo kit or just buy parts used off craigslist/ebay?...

 

Piece together your own kit. The only part that i would purchase new or have rebuilt would be the turbo and probably wg.
