Heater Core Hoses! Help

Default Heater Core Hoses! Help

Whats up TR

so i took the whole heater core system out. and i was left with the hose that comes off the block to the heater core hook up inside the motor bay area.

what do i connect the hose to that is comeing off the block?

here are some pics:

here is the hose that is on the block. right under my Vtec Solenoid.



This is the pic of the heater connector thing.

just go to ace hardwear and buy a U pipe to loop the hoses together its like 1.20$

Hey,

well there is a hose coming off the back of the block that goes into a pipe. ill get some pics up today.

this is the hose on the back of the block that was going to the tube for the Heater core

can i just put the hose that is under the Vtec Solenoid on the tube under the Throttle Body?

Get the rubber cap-off plugs for your size of heater hoses.
Maybe from Pep Boys/A-zone, etc.

As a general rule:
Put a cap-off plug anywhere a hose would have connected.

That U-pipe is a good idea, also. If it is the right size.

Pics are better than nothing, but sometimes it helps to see it real.

Rats. Pretty far to go....I'm in Tampa...
I ask because I just converted my (different from yours) car over to a cold non-heated intake....heater works, gauges work...but for me to describe what I did is almost impossible.

As a general principle, all metal pipes need to be either capped off
or a hose connected to them....and with some luck there will be an even number and/or pipe sizes will be the same.

If all you did was remove the heater core, connecting heater hoses to Rang's u-pipe may be your best bet.-Bob
