pleace help with CAI question
can anyone tell me or prove to me why a AEM intake would be (alot) better than the one in the link. Its a functioning CAI for 60 bucks and it does the same thing as a AEM except it doesnt have a ABV(air bypass valve or a AEM sticker on it) Id rather spend 60 than 200.ALL opinons welcome------

duh, just spend 10-15 on pvc and fittings.
stays plenty cool and servers same purpose as aem or any other rip off company who makes cai. plus get k@n filter like someone else suggested.
if ur looking for good looks though pvc is not a good option.

if ur not worried bout looks. buy pvc pipe, fittings and a k@n filter and call it a day. pvc does not get hot at all. i have a "custom" pvc intake on my shit and it dont look half bad. i painted it black so it would not stick out as much
as is the case with most things in life, you get what you pay for. yes, this 70 dollar imitation cai will do the job and work. however, i doubt it will fit as well and have the same quality compared to an aem.
if i had to give anyone advice i'd just tell them to get an aem. spending 200 dollars isn't that unreasonable. yes, pvc piping will work and so will any other aftermarket air intake, however dyno tests have shown that the aem is one of the best around and its quality is much better.
thats just my opinion, but again i don't mind spending a little more money on aftermarket parts.
