Boost is good.....all motor is good, but more difficult......just spray is gay.......boost with a tiny shot just to cool the I/C is good.....but that's all you can spray with boost. Just depends on the budget.

Leslie Said It Best

Spray Is Gay

Boost Is Good, But Expensive To Do Right

All Motor = Best

Spend Half The Cash You Would On A Turbo Kit, Ivest Into All Motor Parts & Tunning, Easy Mid 13's

I went 13.9 with short ram intake and a header in my gsr hatch...
new times up soon...And They Will Be Significantly Lower And Im All Motor

just spray is gay
i disagree. nitrous for some people is perfect and if they're car is faster than yours then its faster, whether its nitrous, turbo or sc'd. yes its easier to be faster with nitrous and personally its not something i'd ever use, but if someone is running 13's or 12's or even 10's with nitrous then all the power to them.

and if i'm not mistaken tamparacing's last "car of the quarter" is spraying, right? he's running 10's, yes 10's. do you realize how fast this is? or is this gay?

come on leslie...you'd probably give mark head for a ride in his car...

*shrug* Maybe I got lucky.
back on the TOPIC....... so do you have a b-series engine im guessing??? thats pretty inexpensive.. what size turbo are you running? and have you ran your car in the 1/4 yet???

you're right, i shouldn't respond but it makes me wonder why some people say the things they do when it sounds like they've never successfully turned a wrench before.

sorry, won't say anything else.

to get back on topic, i'd suggest going all motor. if this is a daily driven vehicle then reliability has to be a serious consideration. and, with turbo, there will always be reliability issues even if the entire motor is built properly. ask anyone on this board and they'll tell you that their turbocharged car requires constant attention.

if this is the case, that in fact its a daily driver, then getting more aggressive cams, advancing the timing, even going with a better drivetrain is a better investment and a smarter overall move. no, the high horsepower numbers won't be there, but the engine should make good enough power to get into the mid-low 13's. afterall, any hatchback (thats not an si weighing in at 2300+lbs) with 180+hp to the wheels will be into the 13's with a good driver and good tires. and as many dyno tests have shown 180+hp to the wheels in an all motor b18c is well within reach.
