And with race type bearings your crank needs to be polished AND DO NOT touch the bearings with your fingers wear gloves and you much keep the crank perfectly clean and everything around it till the oil pan gets put on

I have the crank micropolished still in the wrap...

I know not to touch them lol the oils or anything off the fingers will ruin em, but if they are all that bad il use the oem acl bearings later on but nothin I can do now already ordered! Hopefully it will be good for atleast 20k miles even tho I think it's operator error when installing them and they go out quicker then you expected.

never used them. we always use Clevite77's, Engine Works, or Calico's.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Good thing because the acl bearings are out almost nationwide, i ordered from 3 different sellers and they are all sold out.

Luckily my friend knows a connect in Brandon for full clevite bearings for 100

Touching the bearings with your fingers won't hurt them at all, by the way.

^not true if your fingers have oil and of course dirt the last thing u want is dirt on the bearings or polished crank b4 u tighten it down the smallest shit will wear the bearings and make marks on the crank

Just FYI, the biggest difference between the std ACL's and the ACL race bearings, is the clearance... The race bearings are looser than the std bearings... They are not reccomended for street use, but I have seen them hold up well as long as you run a heavy weight oil...
