i just purchased a 92 prelude si with 4ws and it has a jdm h23a in it. the problem is when the car idles it idles around 3-4k and as of today it surges. last night i cleaned the iacv and left it sitting upside down overnight to dry. and when i shut off its pretty rough. it runs fine when its not idling. ask me questions, lol.

 

problem fixed. found a vac leak.

 

 

i found other problems though, lol. i need to replace crank pulley and cv axles. :o

the douche bag i bought it from did something stupid to it, idk. thanks tr for your help. lmfao that was sarcasm. i found a hose that looked like it was cut and it was pointing down, so i didnt know untill i spent a day looking for shit unplugged. my neighbor has a h23a1 prelude and i just matched it up, it went to the intake, idk much about it so i couldnt tell you the name of the place, haha. also first thing i found was maf sensor was unplugged. and when i changed oil the o2 sensor was unplugged. wdf right?

 

but she still idles at 3k. but it sounds like shes idling normal. idk
