honestly i would be happy with 200-210

im picking up a built gsr head this weekend fresh, ARP studs. p&p crower S & R, ferrea, and im going to put skunk2 stg 2 cams.

im scared of ctr and changed my mind to itr because i dont want that crazy compression daily driving, i know i dont need rediculous compression to make some power.

It will take alot longer then i expected because if i want to build a strong reliable motor obviouskly it takes alot of $$$$

for the block alone

i have amicropolished crank
all acl race bearings
eagle rods arp 3.8 bolts
NPR type-r 82mm pistons coated
block gaurd
aftermarket girdle
cometic thin head gasket to race compression a tad
itr oil pump etc..
GSR oil pick up oil pan etc...

the head i would like to add blox manifold little bit bigger TB, big tube hytech replica header.

at the track occasionally run 75 shot, get dual maps retard timing at the flip of a switch little bit safer on spray.

im going to take my time because i know it will pay off in the end prolly wont be done for another 3-4 months

nice! Im right there wit you , Im puttin a set up very simliar to do that but stock rods! and Im still taking my time piecing everything together NEW and making sure a reliable motor is getting put together, I also have .20over 81.5mm ITR pistons, but Im kinda leaning towards the p30's.

Iv heard alot of people with the p30s doing well but it raises the compression more then itr pistons. On a nice tune with those you should be happy with it!

Ebay Nippon Hi comp ls pistons work fine. Proven- haters shut yo mouths! You can dremel your own valve release to spec allowing clearance for your vtec vlaves.

Only thing ill add is, just remember in the future, if you need to replace a rod or a piston, youll have to have it machined, and you may void any kind of warranty once you alter the company's products from original specs. It would be soo much easier just to buy the forged pistons, theyll fit on the rods, and then you have a full forged bottom end.
