d series tranny numbers
What numbers should be stamped on the casing of a tranny from a D16y8? I've bought one tranny before and waited until after to check the numbers. turns out it was a tranny from a dx. It would just be silly/stupid of me to make the same mistake twice... Any help would be appreciated.

my dx tranny from a 92 civic is an s20.
i imagine all dx motors come with these trannys, probably even the cx's and vx's. also, i'll be getting a d16z6 with a transmission tomorrow so i'll check the numbers on that also.
