alright guys, i've just acquired a third engine from a crashed del sol with a d16z6.

i also have a d15 from a 92 hatchback and a d16 from a 89 crx si.

now, i want to build a mini-me as my first motor...and i figure with these blocks its not like i'll worry about screwing something up.

should i try raising the compression anymore? personally, i don't care if the motor isn't that reliable, i want like 120hp to the wheels and i'm willing to spend a little bit of money to get the head planed.

any other suggestions would be welcomed. thanks, chet.

 

keep the stock compression and get a zex cam. you will hit 120whp with that and bolt-ons. i dont think you will hit 120 with a stock head and block.
