300HP B18 hatch?

I need advice,
would it be possible to get 300 hp out of a B18 non vtec with 13to1 compression, and stage 3 cams? I am looking to do this in a hatch and make a 12 sec quarter mile. any feedback helps.

300hp no, 200hp maybe. 12 seconds yes, if the car is light enough. There have been very few 300hp b series motors ever built, all have been vtec motors and greater than 2.1L as far as I know.

I want to see what it would take for an LS to be 200hp with no spray...

A lot. Guy I knew a while back did it. It made a little more than 200whp SAE. Had 13:1 pistons, flat face valves, Port Flow head, Crower 62404 cams, good header (don't remember), VP gas, etc.

What if I build the B18 with high dome pistons, and bore it .50 over with vtec? deck the block and the head? with a tune on race gas?

^make it a K24 and the 300 becomes more attainable. 300 on a n/a B series is unheard of and takes a LOT of work, if it's even ever been done.

I just finish my own build and am happy it is at 207whp it was gsrblock lscrank revhbeam rods pr3 pistons bored to 82mm with b16 stock intake 64mm tb rev train with s2s3 cams.it will take more for a ls not worth it
