Default VAFC settings

Hey guys, I have a 91 Hatch with a B16A1. I just recently turbo'ed it with a 13G from a auto DSM. ebay manifold, 450 injectors, DSM side mount and have a VAFC to work it all out.

I have the thing properly wired in, i know its doing what it supposed to. A friend who knows how to work SAFCs, set the low end so the thing is somewhat driveable and will idle now. I am looking for like a general idea on where to put the NE points and settings for a basic tune so I can play with it some. I also have tried playing with the Vtec point lowering it to 3500, and I know it tries to kick in at that point, but the car is all kinds of unhappy when that happens. Im pretty sure it due to the lack of a tune. Any help in a positive direction is much appreciated.

Keep playing with it and your next thread is gonna be a "how do I rebuild my engine" or "wtb- longblock". uhh I'm not even gonna waste my time saying how many things are wrong with what you just posted. But I will tell you to ditch the safc and get a proffessional tuner and have your car tuned right. AFC is a hack that was used in the 90's along with FMU's and check valve/missing link. We are in 2010 now get with the program and stop half assing your shit.

Even a basemap on chipped ecu from any decent tuner will run better than the VAFC will ever have your car running and you can get a chipped ecu plus basemap for less than the cost of a vafc.
