96 Civic EX wiring harness... I have 2 connectors I cannot figure out what they go to or what they are for.

1st one: Thicker brown wire, brown w/ black stripe wire, white w/ red stripe wire. 3 wires go in but only 2 connection spots (extra is a ground wire I assume). Exact same plug as the VSS. What is it? I dont see any plug in on the motor for another sensor so its something in the bay or something JDM motors do not have but what is it?

2nd one: Light blue w/ white stripe and black w/ yellow stripe. 2 pin/2 connection spots.

I'm thinking one is for the purge tank that sits on the lower brace against the firewall? Unless the engine harness does connect to that and its the other wires in the bay. Whats the other one for?

 

That thick brown wire ends up turning into a blue w/ red striped wire which is CFK. I dont believe JDM motors have a crank fluctuation sensor. I assume the other is for the purge tank? Any solid answers?
