chirrrping noise!!!

Default chirrrping noise!!!

just put in a tranny and new clutch kit in my car. but i have this chiping noise that only goes away when i push in the clutch. i have a 98 civic. any ideas please help.. thanks

when you hold the clutch in or just when shifting? i have an unsprung clutch and mine chirps when shifting. If it makes noises when you hold the clutch in probly throw out bearing. If it makes noises in neutral with the clutch not pressed probably input shaft bearing.

its a throw out bearing you didnt lube it well enough...My roommates ITR does it and annoys me so bad.....

Sounds like the input shaft bearing if it goes away when you push the clutch in.
