alright guys need another question answered.

i am putting a d16z6 from a 96 civic ex into a 93 del sol si. however this engine came with an automatic transmission so im using my transmission from the 92dx hatchback that i just bought. now my question is this will the clutch and transmission from my 92dx bolt up to the 96ex long block? my initial thoughts on this were yes they will however i need to order the clutch because id like to replace it and the guy i was ordering from said the two were different.

are the long blocks that come with auto transmissions different?

or do all d-series motors bolt up to d-series transmissions?

both are hydro so i dont have that problem just the clutch flywheel etc.

i hope this post is clear and people respond tonight as id like to order the clutch tomorrow morning and have this completed by the weekend.

also i hate automatics i liken an auto civic to a hot chick with a penus.

not too sure about the fuel maps but they could be different.
As for the ECU working right well youll end up getting a code but itll run. I was checking out some pinouts the other day from the Hondata site and stumbled across how to convert an Auto ECU to a Manual and its pretty simple. You could save yourself some cash and just bust out the soldering iron.
