PCV valve it there an easy way?

Is there an easy way to replace the PCV valve on the B16 so far all I hear is that the manifold needs to be removed for this. any way to save me the trouble?

...why are you taking it off? Have you tested it before hand?
As for removing the manifold...come on now...

Easiest way to test the pcv valve on my mazda is to shake it and to do that you gotta remove it.

If you can test it still on the car thatd be best if its hard to reach. But it doesnt hurt to replace it wont cost but maybe $3 or so.

I already have it and I want to replace it anyway because everything else on the motor that I have replaced was shot like my rusted ignition rotor never know what condition those imported motors are in.

You can simply test em by pinching off the hose and listening for a click with ear or car stethescope.

Sometimes when i get my oil changed they always ask mewould you like to replace your pcv valve? I just yes cause i get they would know better but what does it do excatly and how often does it need to be replaced? Bill?
