Exclamation 97 dx wiring..

Ok, so I bought this car used this week, here is my problem; Cars a/c and heat do not work! Motor blows but no hot or cold air. Second went to buy radio, because it didn't have one. Pulled wiring harness down under console to install wires, the radio worked, when I unplugged radio clip to pull wires back through dash and plugged up radio, radio then shut off. Traded radio in as defective, and now on my 3rd one! So I believe that my heat and a/c not working, and radio now does not even turn on, so i think its all connected.
Haven't really troubleshooted, do not know where to start.
Any help is appreciated.

you probably pulled out the power wire installing the radio. and have you checked your freon in the compressor?

Thanks for the reply, and yes power wire in intact.. As far as freon, well i was going to check pressure this weekend when i am off work. Looked over car again today, fuse was blown under hood, changed the fuse, and now im back at square one. Now on the radio the display setting comes on, and it will eject my disc, but thats it, nothing else. Heat is still not working, a/c compressor does not kick on, nor does clutch engage. Also, my fans are not working. any other ideas would be helpful.. Thanks

sounds like you have alot of wiring issues, i'd check the main relay, most of those systems are not on the same circuit (harness), with the radio and a/c being the exception. i'd say either main relay or fuse box.
