Really tighten the belt...I mean you can flex it a good quarter inch after it feels tight. Use a big pry bar and a friend to tighten it.

If it still comes on after that check the connection on back of gauge cluster...a wire might be loose. Does it come on at exact same RPM every time you hit that rshared_pm...as in can you slowly raise rpms to that rshared_pm and get light to flick on at same spot every time?

+1 on volt meter to see what really is happening.. If it stays 13.5 at 8k then do what custom 240sx said "If it still comes on after that check the connection on back of gauge cluster...a wire might be loose. "

it only squeals if it's loose. and it's only too tight when it snaps lol.

Unsprung?...you will regret it on a street car. WTF do you need that much clutch for anyway?

unsprung clutches suck for daily driving, i'd use them on the track only. plus it's probably an on/off clutch 6 or 4 puck style. nothing beats a disc for maximum grip. that's why the high dollar carbon/carbon clutches are all disc.
