i tried putting a b16a1 into a 92-95 hatch and well when i got fed up with it i went to LHT and i was told that it was illegal to put an older engine into a newer chassis
i know this law goes in cali but what about here i mean i know cops here arent memorizing what engine belongs in what and makin us pop our hoods but still...

i got nothing but good to say about john at lht. that is true it is illegal to put an older engine in an newer chassis because of smog issues. did john say he would could not do it? he probably was taking percaution to protect himself and his buisness. gotta understand this is how he makes his living. im sure if john could not help you out there are plenty of guys on this board with loads of honda motor swaping knowledge that may be able to help you out on the side. but it is very important to have all the right parts.
