LS ef questions (b18a1 in to 91 crx)
I picked up a b18a1 last weekend, I've got a few questions before I go buying the wrong stuff..
Trans
I see there were different year B18A1, 90-91 and 92-93 so do I need to figure out which year mine is from, or does it not matter which trans I go with (a1,s1, or ys1?)
If transmission is not year-specific, which would be the best to go with?
Axles
Again, back to the year of the b18a1, will I need year-specific axles?
Ecu
I planned on going from obd-0 to obd-1, so I would use a 94+ LS ecu?
All answers are appreciated

Does not matter which one you use so long as it is cable. What will matter is the clutch you get. 90-91 and 92-93 have different tooth counts on the spline of the transmission. This means different clutches (friction disk)
-Axles
90-93 DA axles...depends on the year of the halfshaft you get really though.
-ECU
If you stay obd-0 you use obd-0 LS ecu...go obd-1 us obd-1 LS ecu.
OBD-0 = 90-92 Integra OBD-1 = 93-95(might be 96 don't remember) Integra

Thanks for the reply. So if I used 90-93 DA axles, I would need the half shaft with the female end?

Good deal.
Suitable combo?
Street Imports - Acura B Series Intermediate Shaft Half Shaft
Street Imports - Pair Acura Integra Axles 1990 - 1993 Manual Trans.
Any idea on the company? Reputable? Other suggestions?
