hey im trying to find out what tranny my car has and heead. anyone know what y7b means on the tranny? is that the stock tranny for d16z6? and how can u tell if the engine has a diffrent head on cuz it looks like on mine that valve cover was changed and it doesnt say vtec....

For the transmission, look for a small circular stamp in the housing near the drain/fill plug. It will be about 1/2 inch around and have one of the following codes stamped in it.
A000 = small bearing case = CX/DX/HX/VX case
B000 = large bearing case = EX/Si case
