you gotta run a P28 if its gonna be OBD1..and its gotta have obd1 dizzy or obd2 will work also..and the rear mount is the same..as long as u have the bracket for the b16..u might have to move it over to the other set of holes on the frame rail...but it does work..u can get a nice p28 on phearable.net...for 175 with a basemap to make it run good..

A stock p28 will allow the engine to "run" but its going to run like shit. An obd1 P30 is the correct ecu for a obd1 jdm B16. A chipped obd1 vtec ecu(sohc or dohc) will make it run the best.

It doesn't have to be chipped IF its a p30 or IF you want it to run like shit and get fucked up when you beat on it

BTW i have a b16 running off a p28 and i have ran it stock and chipped with the correct maps. trust me i could run laps around the stock p28 powered b16

if you can solder, you can order a kit on ebay to chip your p06 and make it vtec. it will run just like a chipped p28 but be cheaper.

ffsquad has all the info you'd need. IIRC its like a4(vtak) and d6(green pressure switch)
