ok i bought my eg stock with the b7 in it..i am now running a d15b withsome dseries tranny..well my problem is the eg linkage i have dont fit?? i can get the stabilizer bar to go in place but the shifter bar seems too long and when i hook it up the shifter itself is stuck in first...this is the canadian eg hatch from 93...any ideas or help???

 

You said that you are using the same tranny or one that came with the other motor? all eg shift linkages should would with eg transmissions on an eg. take some pics if you can of both the mounting points of the shift linkage so i can get an idea of whats going on.
