try using a breaker bar if you have one... if not try to steal a pipe from your vaccum cleaner if you can and put the ratchet inside it... thats what i use... anything for more leverage...

if youre gonna use a breaker bar you need a big breaker bar 5 or 6 feet should be enough and I suggest bit tools so they dont break. Then youre gonna need something to keep the engine from spinning. If you can somehow do that with something solid metal (if you try to keep the motor from spinning with something that isnt metal it wont hold enough trust me very little is strong enough). Something thick like a piece of solid metal with a hole drilled in both ends and bolt one to the tranny to engine hole and another bolt to the hole for the PP on the flywheel. Then with all your might put the rachet on the crank pully and turn that bitch hard. IT IS NOT REVERSE THREADED so you are correct and dont worry about that. If that still doesnt work and you arent strong enough to move it and your tools didnt break then find somebody bigger to move it. Just have a ton of people and dont quit trying till a tool breaks or the bolt somes loose. If you cant get people together youre gonna have to bit the big one and find somebody with strong enough air tools SVT jesse sure does gawd damn that compressor is strong enough to break hoses that bruise your feet when they explode AND YOURE WEARING SHOES. It is also strong enough to break Carbon Steel Impact Sockets. It will get your crank pulley bolt off and not even struggle.
