What ecu are you running ?
My guess is you will be running a chipped obd1 ecu.

The answer is no, the ecu doesn't need any o2 sensors hooked up to it to run if the ecu is programmed that way.

You will be able to use the aem uego for o2 feedback on some engine management solutions such as aem ems, eCtune etc.
