not getting spark

i put a jdm h22 in my 93 prelude which had an h23
i used my h23 wiring harness and everything is fine but theres an extra plug on the harness that me nor my machanic can find a home for and im not getting spark
am i not getting spark because of the plug that is unplugged or could it be something else the plug only has three wires in it but they are pretty good size wires
i know im asking for yall to work blind folded but im hopeing someone might know

check the cap and rotor for ovious signs of deteration. then if everything looks perfect check all wires for continuity and check and the 2 main wire yellow black and blue (not sure if its the same on the h22a) for resistance.

well me and jessie put my old h23 distributer on to see if that was the problem but nothing happened we are thinking its the plug so we found someone with a prelude and we are gonna compare
i just wasnt sure if there was supose to be an extra plug left over but jessie said there shouldnt be
